Help proofread
Many of these classics came to us through a scanner, which misreads letters and stops. You can help put them right. Take a page and set the scan of the printed page beside our text, then fix whatever differs. Another reader checks each page before it goes into the book.
How it works
- Take a page. It's yours while you work on it. Leave it untouched for 3 days and it goes back for someone else, with your work kept.
- Make the text match the printed page. Fix misread letters, stops, Scripture references, and words split or run together. Your work saves as you type.
- Submit it when it matches. Another reader compares it with the scan and approves it or sends it back with a note.
Keep the author's words, exactly as printed. Don't modernize spelling (keep shew, honour, thee), don't reword, and don't "improve" anything. A change of meaning isn't a correction, and it won't be approved.
