Love Enthroned: Essays on Evangelical Perfection

Daniel Steele (1824–1914) was an American Methodist theologian and the scholarly voice of the nineteenth-century holiness movement. After years in New England pastorates he taught theology at Boston University, where he held the chair of doctrinal theology, and he also helped lead the young Syracuse University. Our library holds Love Enthroned (1875), his influential essays on entire sanctification and evangelical perfection.
