About this book

A series of sermons Andrew Murray preached at the Northfield conferences, published in 1896. Murray contrasts the carnal Christian, who lives in his own strength, with the spiritual life that comes when Christ truly indwells and governs the heart. With characteristic gentleness he presses for full surrender, urging believers to let the Master take His rightful place within.
