Andrew Murray (1828–1917) was a South African pastor and writer in the Dutch Reformed Church. Educated in Scotland and the Netherlands, he served congregations at Bloemfontein, Worcester, Cape Town, and Wellington, and was six times moderator of his church. Andrew Murray's 1901 book of addresses on Christian service. Murray considers the worker's preparation, motives, and dependence on the Holy Spirit, insisting that fruitful labor for God flows from a life of abiding fellowship with Him. It is practical counsel for ministers, missionaries, teachers, and every believer who wants his work to count for eternity.
