About this book

A collection of sermons by John Tulloch, the Scottish theologian, preached before Queen Victoria and published in 1877. Tulloch reflects on what he calls the facts of religion and of life—providence, duty, sorrow, and hope—bringing a broad, thoughtful mind to questions every believer faces. The sermons are reflective rather than polemical, and reward unhurried reading.
