Autobiography of George Müller

Autobiography of George Müller

George Müller (1805–1898) was a German-born evangelist who settled in Bristol, England, and became a founder figure of the Open Brethren. With Henry Craik he founded the Scriptural Knowledge Institution, and from 1836 built the Ashley Down orphanages, caring for more than ten thousand orphans while refusing to solicit funds directly. His Autobiography and narratives of answered prayer made his name synonymous with living by faith.

About this book

George Müller's account of a life lived by faith in God's provision, drawn from the Narrative he began publishing in 1837. Müller tells how he was led to care for orphans in Bristol without asking any person for money, depending on prayer alone. His testimony of answered prayer has encouraged believers to trust God simply ever since.
