John Dick (1764–1833) was a Scottish Secession Church minister and theologian, born at Aberdeen and educated at King's College. He ministered at Slateford and then at Greyfriars Church, Glasgow, and in 1820 became professor of theology for the United Secession Church while keeping his pulpit. His posthumous Lectures on Theology became the standard system of divinity among the Seceders; our library also holds his Lectures on the Acts of the Apostles.
