The Story of Prophets and Kings

The Story of Prophets and Kings

Ellen Gould White (1827–1915) was an American religious author and a co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Beginning with visions in her teens, she wrote extensively on Bible history, health, education, and Christian living, and helped shape Adventist institutions worldwide. Adventists regard her writings as an authoritative prophetic voice. Our library carries Steps to Christ, The Desire of Ages, The Great Controversy, and others of her Conflict of the Ages series.

About this book

Ellen G. White's retelling of Old Testament history from the reign of Solomon to the close of prophecy, published in 1917. Following the second volume pattern of her Conflict of the Ages series, the book traces Israel's kings, the nation's decline and captivity, and the ministries of the prophets. It presents the story as a continuing conflict between God's purposes and evil.
