About this book

A systematic manual on prayer by evangelist and Bible teacher R. A. Torrey, first published in 1900. Torrey takes up the practical questions believers ask — why pray, how to pray, when to pray — and deals plainly with the hindrances that keep prayer from being answered. Orderly and direct, it aims to move readers from theory into a working life of prayer.
