About this book

Gentle, practical talks on prayer by S. D. Gordon, from his popular Quiet Talks series, first published in 1904. Gordon writes conversationally about how prayer works, why answers sometimes wait, and how intercession for others lies at the heart of the Christian life. Its simplicity has made it a friendly introduction to a deeper prayer life for many readers.
