Spurgeon's Sermons Volume 13: 1867

Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892) was an English Baptist preacher who pastored London's Metropolitan Tabernacle for thirty-eight years. Converted as a teenager, he became the most widely heard preacher of the Victorian age — the 'Prince of Preachers' — drawing thousands weekly and publishing his sermons around the world. Our library carries his Morning and Evening devotional, The Treasury of David, and dozens of his sermon volumes.

About this book

This 1867 volume of the Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit gathers sermons by C. H. Spurgeon, whose weekly published preaching reached readers far beyond his London congregation. The sermons range across doctrine, invitation, and practical counsel, joining clear teaching to warm appeals for repentance and faith in Christ. Readers meet Spurgeon as pastor and evangelist together—explaining Scripture, urging sinners to Christ, and guiding believers through ordinary duties and trials.
