Spurgeon's Sermons Volume 15: 1869

Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892) was an English Baptist preacher who pastored London's Metropolitan Tabernacle for thirty-eight years. Converted as a teenager, he became the most widely heard preacher of the Victorian age — the 'Prince of Preachers' — drawing thousands weekly and publishing his sermons around the world. Our library carries his Morning and Evening devotional, The Treasury of David, and dozens of his sermon volumes.

About this book

This 1869 volume of the Metropolitan Tabernacle Pulpit gathers sermons by C. H. Spurgeon, whose weekly published preaching reached readers far beyond his London congregation. His subjects are the constants of his ministry: Christ and His finished work, faith, prayer, providence, and growth in holiness. The result is preaching meant to be used, carried into the home, the workplace, and the prayer closet through the week.
