Spurgeon's Sermons Volume 58: 1912

Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834–1892) was an English Baptist preacher who pastored London's Metropolitan Tabernacle for thirty-eight years. Converted as a teenager, he became the most widely heard preacher of the Victorian age — the 'Prince of Preachers' — drawing thousands weekly and publishing his sermons around the world. Our library carries his Morning and Evening devotional, The Treasury of David, and dozens of his sermon volumes.

About this book

The 1912 volume of C. H. Spurgeon's sermons, gathered from his preaching at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London. Like the rest of the series, it brings Spurgeon's exposition of Scripture to readers in print, combining clear doctrine with an earnest evangelistic appeal. The volumes appeared weekly in his lifetime and continued to be published long after his death.
